A Fresh Chapter: Why I Reshaped Inspired Statements

If you’ve been following along for a while, you might notice that things look a little different around here. Inspired Statements has grown up — or maybe more accurately — it’s grown into itself.

For a long time, this space was mainly focused on my jewelry, which I still love creating. But truthfully, jewelry is just one part of my creative world. I’ve never been just a jeweler. I’m a painter, a needle felter, a teacher, a gatherer of inspiration, and most of all — an artist who’s always exploring. It started to feel like my website wasn’t fully reflecting me.

So, I gave it the same kind of care and attention I give to a new piece of art. I stepped back, took a breath, and asked myself — what do I want people to feel when they visit Inspired Statements? The answer was simple:

I want you to feel like you’ve stepped into my studio, not just my shop.

I want you to see the paintings, the felted creatures, the jewelry, the stories, and even the creative messes behind it all. I want you to know that you’re not just welcome to browse — you’re invited to join in. Whether through a class, a workshop, or by bringing one of my pieces into your home, you’re part of this inspired life with me.

This new website is designed to reflect that.

It’s softer.

More personal.

More me.

You’ll find spaces to explore my art, learn about classes, peek into my process, and yes — still shop for handmade treasures. But more importantly, I hope you’ll feel the heartbeat behind all of it. The love, the curiosity, the belief that art is more than decoration — it’s connection.

Thank you for being here, whether you’ve been with me from the beginning or you’re just finding your way in. I hope you’ll stay a while, explore, and maybe even pick up a needle or a brush with me sometime soon.

With gratitude and creativity,

Ashley
