Welcome to my little corner of the creative world — I’m Ashley Taylor-Wrightson, the artist and maker behind Inspired Statements. I’ve always believed that art is more than something you hang on a wall or wear around your neck; it’s a language, a memory, a breath. It’s how we tell stories, share our joys and griefs, and connect with one another beyond words.

My journey as an artist has never been about sticking to just one medium. I find joy in exploring — following threads of curiosity that lead me into new forms of expression. I am equally at home with a paintbrush, a felting needle, or pliers shaping metal into wearable art. Over the years, I’ve learned that the common thread through all my work isn’t just technique — it’s heart. Every piece I create, whether it’s jewelry, fiber art, or a painting, carries intention. My hope is that you’ll not only see the beauty but feel the story behind it.

Inspired Statements began as a jewelry line but has grown into something much more — a reflection of my love for creativity, community, and the belief that everyone is capable of making and connecting through art. I now share my process not only through the work I offer but by inviting others into the studio with me through classes, workshops, and creative gatherings. There’s nothing quite like watching someone discover the spark of inspiration in themselves.
